Graduated from DSU in 1988 with an AD in Nursing

Graduated from UND in 2016 with a BSN in Nursing

I have been providing nursing care for patients and clients throughout the lifespan, from labor/delivery and newborn nursery to geriatrics in Long Term Care settings. My passion in nursing is health promotion and disease prevention so I am very happy to have this opportunity to work for West River Health Services and surrounding communities as the Population Health Nurse. One of my roles in this position is to help community members access the services available for preventive health maintenance and screenings. I will also strive to coordinate care and help the patient’s in this region have a positive experience with their health care.

I am married to Jim Honeyman, who works as the District Director for the Farm Service Agency. We have lived on a cattle ranch north of Regent for over 20 years. We have four grown children; Hannah, who is married to Nate Zachmann, and they have a beautiful little girl – Sunnie J, Luke, Jonah, and Abby who is married to Grady Houghton.

Besides spending time with my family (especially Sunnie) I enjoy being outdoors walking with my dogs, gardening and yard work. During the winter months I catch up on my reading!
