64-Slice CT Scanner (Computerized Tomography)
64-Slice CT Scanner (Computerized Tomography) features advanced technology that produces split-second high-quality images, permitting doctors to see more anatomical detail in a fraction of the time. A CT scan is an X-ray procedure that also uses a computer to generate a picture of your body. This gives a 3-dimensional view or slice of a particular part of your body. With this CT scanner, West River physicians will be able to more effectively detect a range of illnesses, including cancer, stroke, and lung disease. Contrast media may be injected to help the radiologist more accurately evaluate an area.

3D Mammography Services The Genius exam is more accurate for women of all ages, with both dense and non-dense breasts, and the Genius exam is the only mammogram FDA-approved as superior for women with dense breasts.

Nuclear Imaging employs minimal doses of radioactive substances to diagnose and manage various medical conditions. These procedures serve both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Radiopharmaceuticals are combined with kits designed to target specific organs or systems within the body. Typically administered intravenously, the radiopharmaceuticals emit gamma rays, which are then detected by nuclear medicine scanners to generate detailed images of the body. Nuclear medicine encompasses a range of procedures, including cardiac stress tests, thyroid scans, kidney scans, total body bone scans, lung scans, and more.
