To enhance our patient care services, West River Health Services implemented a new appointment reminder system called CareMessage. With CareMessage, you will now have the option to confirm or cancel your appointments via text message. We need to have your correct contact information on file. While providing a cell phone number is preferable for using this service, if you do not have a cell phone, you can still use the service with your home phone number through automated voice messages.
You will soon receive a "Welcome to CareMessage" text. It is crucial to opt in for this service. If you choose to opt-out, you will not be able to utilize CareMessage due to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Please note that you will no longer receive appointment reminders or updates through FollowMyHealth. However, FollowMyHealth will continue to be your Patient Portal, allowing you to access your health records anytime, anywhere, using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. You can still send and receive secure messages, view test and lab results, as well as make requests for RX refills on your portal.
