Materials Management Assistant - FT

This a full time position in our Materials Management Department. Some duties include:

         Responsible for sorting and disseminating materials and supplies to and from WRHS clinics.


·         Responsible for collecting and processing Patient Issue cards and replenishing chargeable sub-inventories.

·         Responsible for assessing replenishment needs for department type sub-inventories and re-stocking as necessary.
  
  ·         Responsible for accurately sorting and disseminating all incoming mail and freight and processing all outgoing mail and freight.


·         Documenting MMIS (Materials Management Information System) purchases, maintaining MMIS records related to the purchase of goods and services, verifying receipts for payment and coordinating product returns.

·         Maintaining all inventory transactions, logging, filing and maintaining source documents in an organized fashion, making any corrections to transaction errors.

·         Responsible for receiving, controlling, storing and accurately issuing all items stored in inventory. Inspect, verify and accept or reject supplies.

·         Responsible for receiving and accurately disseminating all non-stock items ordered through the MMIS.

·         Responsible for accurately processing Department Requisitions of Inventory and Non-stock requisitions

Education:             Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Some college education preferred.

 Experience:          Previous experience in supply chain, computerized inventory systems, and/or accounts payable desired. Typing and computer knowledge required.

 License Requirements:      Must maintain a valid driver’s license & be insurable.


Houskeeper - FT/SUPP

WRHS has three openings in our housekeeping department, one FT housekeeper, one FT Laundry Worker and one Supplemental Housekeeper.

This person does the cleaning in all areas of the hospital and clinic as designated.
Duties include dusting, mopping, washing furniture and walls with cleaning solutions and disinfectants, wash beds and empty waste baskets from designated areas


Clinical IT Coordinator - FT

The Clinical IT Coordinator is responsible for implementing and supporting WRHS clinical applications and departments. This position will serve as a day-to-day contact person for the end-users of clinical modules, identify and assist in the resolution of issues arising in the clinical modules, train users in the use of clinical and other assigned applications, and other duties as they arise. This position is flexible to be 32-40 hours per week. A bachelor degree in a computer-related or clinical field is required.

Cook and/or Food Service Worker - PT/FT

Positions available for 24-36 hours per week. Provides service to patients and to staff and guests in the cafeteria. The hours are 5:30am to 2:00pm and 11:00am to 7:30pm rotating shifts. Every third weekend and Holidays required with weekend shift hours slightly different from weekends.

Respiratory Therapist - FT

Full – time Respiratory Therapist position at West River health Services -4 year Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy , Registered or Registry eligible required.

Willingness to train to all modalities of Respiratory Care, excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills.

Hospital RN - FT/PT

West River Health Services has current openings for Registered Nurse(s) in the hospital. The selected individual will work with physicians and Chief Nurse Officer in providing quality patient care. Qualified candidate must have a current RN license.

Medical Technologist- FT

This person would be responsible for quality laboratory results in an efficient and timely manner according to written procedures. 
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
  • Collect Specimens
  • Perform Veinipunctures
  • Perform Capillary sticks and Arterials.

Must have a B.S degree in Medical Technology/ Clinical Laboratory Science. Must be registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist, Equivalent, or eligible. Must be Licensed by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. This is a 40 hour a week position with rotating shifts of nights, weekends, on call and Holidays.

Speech Pathologist/Therapist - PT/FT

This individual is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of speech therapy. Provides patient care when indiciated at his/her discretion. Ensures quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Will organize and administer his/her job function and programs. Possibility of a part time position or a full time position.
 
Qualifacations: Has graduated with a master's degree in Speech Pathology. Has fulfilled all requirements for receipt of Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SP) including satisfactory completion of Clinical Fellowship Year, approval of membership application by the American Speech and hearing Association (ASHA), and passing the ASHA exam. Meets requirements in ND and SD Century Code for licensure and Standard of Practice.

RN - Surgery Manager - FT

This position is for an RN to act as surgery manager. Duties include the responsibility to hire personnel according to unit needs, direct and evaluate personnel, creating and using a department budget, being familiar with all equipment and ensuring that is is operating correctly, monitoring and evaluating client care through QI programs and complaints, and attend meetings and education sessions. This position will also take call and do RN surgical duties as needed.

Western Horizons Care Center - CNA - FT/PT or SUPP

This position is with the new Western Horizons Care Center. The individual will assist the nursing staff with caring for residents at the facility. Some duties include transport, bathe, and dress and assist residents with daily grooming tasks. Addition tasks will include assisting with meals and making beds. The applicant need to communicate well and work well with both the residents, families and other staff members.

LPN or RN/Unit Manager/MDS - FT

This individual will develop, maintain and complete the resident assessment in accordance with regulations and facility policies. The qualified candidate will provide an ongoing objective evaluation of the important aspects of patients’ care through; reviewing the charts, interviewing residents and working with nurses and physicians. This position reports to the Director of Nursing and this individual must have a current RN license. Experience in working with MDS’s is preferred; however, training will be available. The hours will be primarily M-F 8-5pm and may have some call responsibility when needed.

Director of Nursing - FT

The individual will develop and maintain the nursing-service objectives, standards of nursing practice, nursing policy and procedures manuals, and written job descriptions for each level of nursing personnel. Maintain the correct number of staff and levels of nursing personnel as well as staff development. Participate in planning, budgeting, and the development and implementation of resident-care policies; personnel orientation and in-service training and participate in medical reviews. The qualified candidate must have two full years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care with proven leadership and management skills. This individual must hold a current unencumbered license in this state as a Registered Nurse.
