Dr. Joshua Ranum has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the society of internists. The distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care.

Dr. Ranum was elected upon the recommendation of peers and the review of ACP’s Credentials Subcommittee. He is the only internist in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, or Montana to be elected this year.

Dr. Ranum is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He has been practicing at West River Health Services since 2012. He is also active with the North Dakota State Trauma Committee, and medical student education through the UND School of Medicine. In 2016, he received the Dean’s Recognition Award for outstanding medical student teaching.
