The North Dakota Trauma Foundation awarded WRHS Ambulance a $447.74 grant to go towards backboards/spinal boards and straps. Foundation grants are awarded on a 1:1 matching basis.

Ambulance crews, ski patrol and lifeguards use backboards/spinal boards for pre-hospital trauma care. The board designed offers rigid support for trauma patients if spinal or limb injuries might be suspected.

There hasn’t been any extra backboards on hand given this opportunity for grant support we were able to get four extra boards in any event we would need to use them we are better prepared for a big incident that may happen.
