Nora Jean, daughter of Jay and Amanda Berg of Bowman, was the first baby born at West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger during Hospital Week last week. West River Health Services Auxiliary presented the Bergs with a $65 gift certificate celebrating Nora Jean’s birth and commemorating the 65-year history of giving from the Auxiliary. National Hospital Week focuses public attention on the numerous contributions hospitals make to their communities and provides hospitals with the opportunity to recognize staff and volunteers.
