The 27th Annual WRHSF Rockin’ Fun Run & Walk this past 4th of July cleared $3,792 from sponsorships, entry fees, and the raffle! The Fun Run & Walk Committee is committed to supporting health and wellness throughout WRHS and our communities by distributing the net funds as follows:

$1,392 Fitness equipment at the WRHS Wellness & Rehabilitation Center

$600 The Hettinger BackPack Program, helping with nutritional needs of some of our students at Hettinger Public School

$500 EMS (ambulance services)

$500 MRI Campaign

$300 Western Horizons Assisted Living Center (Exercise DVD’s, Exercise Bands, Squeeze balls, Giant Crossword, etc.)

$300 Western Horizons Care Center (Exercise activities, Bingo, etc.)

$200 The Granary, the new home of the Fun Run & Walk registration and pre- and post-race area

$3,792 Total
