Giving Hearts Day 2023

"Giving Hearts Day" is the single largest online giving day in North Dakota. It began in 2008 and has raised over $138 million for nonprofit organizations in the last 15 years. This year, 575 nonprofits are participating. West River Health Services Foundation (WRHSF), your local 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that raises funds to improve facilities, equipment, and staffing at West River Health Services and Western Horizons Living Centers in Hettinger, Scranton, Bowman, New England, Mott, and Lemmon, SD, is a fifth-year member.

Please consider a $10 or more gift to WRHSF. We are trying to raise funds for our "Healthcare Hero's Endowment Fund" to acquire more healthcare workers for our rural communities. TOGETHER we have a chance to receive award gifts, if most everyone gives $10+.

1) Write a check to "WRHSF," write "Giving Hearts Day" in the memo section of the check, drop it off at the WRHS Administration building, or call Ted Uecker at 701-567-3666, and he will come to your location to receive your gift.

Fortunately, the Foundation received $100,000 in matching funds from the Roger Follmer Estate for this year's effort. Therefore, we need to raise another $100,000 or more to "match the match." Every gift counts, no matter the size.
